What vfx services actually involves
Invisible cleanup through to full CG set extension, planned at the storyboard stage.
Every engagement begins with a working session, not a rate card. For VFX, that means deciding early whether the film is doing persuasion work, explanation work or proof work — because those three jobs need different structures, different running times and different crews.
A typical engagement runs 3-8 weeks and is delivered by vfx supervisor, compositor, roto artist, fx td. There is no shoot day and no location to permit — the work is built in our studio from nuke, houdini, on-set hdri capture, which is why the schedule is driven by approvals rather than by weather, traffic or access.
02
What you receive
Deliverables are agreed in writing before production starts, so nothing is negotiated after the fact. The standard package for VFX includes:
- VFX breakdown
- Comped shots
- Cleanup passes
- Element library

03
How we run the project
Six stages, each with a named owner and a dated checkpoint.
- Delivery and measurement: Platform-specific masters, captions, thumbnails, source project files on request, and an asset index. We review performance after 30 days.
- Discovery: A 90-minute session with the people who own the outcome. We leave with the audience, the proposition and the single action the work has to drive.
- Script and storyboard: A written script, then a storyboard or styleframe set that shows exactly how the finished piece will look before a single frame is built.
- Design and asset build: Style is locked on approved styleframes. Characters, product models, UI and typography are built to that lock so nothing is reinterpreted mid-project.
- Animation and assembly: Blocking pass, then full animation against the approved scratch voice track. You review at blocking and at first full pass, before render.
- Finishing: Render, colour, sound design, mix and graphics conform in a calibrated suite. Two structured revision rounds sit inside the schedule.
04
Investment and what moves the number
VFX Services projects typically sit between Rs 1L - Rs 40L. The variables that move that figure are finished runtime, the number of unique scenes or assets built from scratch, the complexity of the style, and how many revision rounds you need beyond the two included.
We quote in three tiers against the same script so you can see exactly what an extra day or an extra grade session buys. What we do not do is win the brief on price and rebuild the margin through change requests.
- Included as standard: two structured revision rounds priced into the quote.
- Included as standard: project files and source assets handed over on request.
- Included as standard: colour and audio finished in a calibrated suite, not on a laptop.
- Included as standard: delivery specs matched to each platform, not one master for everything.

Who we produce VFX for in Mumbai
VFX is built in our studio, so there is no shoot to schedule and no location to permit. What changes from client to client is the brief — and in Mumbai those briefs cluster by business district.
- Khopoli (Extended MMR): Manufacturing sheds, estates and back-of-house operations that need capability films. Anchored around Khopoli MIDC. Briefs here skew to founder films, product stories and recruitment content.
- Karjat (Extended MMR): Open land, farmhouses and natural backdrops within reach of the city. Anchored around Karjat farmhouses. Most work here is capability films, customer testimonials and launch content.
- Titwala (Extended MMR): Neighbourhood retail, clinics, schools and family-run businesses. Anchored around Titwala temple. Typical requests are brand films, social cutdowns and event coverage.
- Thakurli (Extended MMR): Manufacturing sheds, estates and back-of-house operations that need capability films. Anchored around Thakurli power house. Demand runs to explainers, training modules and investor-facing films.
- Palghar (Extended MMR): Manufacturing sheds, estates and back-of-house operations that need capability films. Anchored around Palghar MIDC. Clients here commission campaign films, retail loops and category videos.
- Boisar (Extended MMR): Manufacturing sheds, estates and back-of-house operations that need capability films. Anchored around Tarapur MIDC. The mix leans towards documentary-style films, culture content and CSR stories.
- Bhayandar (Extended MMR): Neighbourhood retail, clinics, schools and family-run businesses. Anchored around Bhayandar station. Work here is usually process films, safety content and trade-show loops.
- Uttan (Extended MMR): Coastal frames, beach-facing hospitality and lifestyle brands. Anchored around Uttan Beach. Requests cluster around leadership interviews, annual films and internal comms.
06
Sectors we produce for
Category experience changes the script more than it changes the camera.

- Government and PSU: Scheme explainers, Annual review films, Field documentaries.
- NGO and CSR: Impact documentaries, Donor films, Beneficiary stories.
- BFSI: Product explainers, Investor communication, Branch training.
- Pharmaceutical: MR detailing films, Plant and GMP walkthroughs, Patient education.

07
Five ways VFX projects go wrong
Most failed video projects fail for the same handful of reasons. These are the ones we plan against.
- Approving a script without a storyboard: Words read differently from frames. Sign off the boards and the revisions collapse from ten rounds to two.
- Changing the style after animation starts: A restyle at the animation stage is a rebuild, not an edit. Style locks at styleframe approval for exactly this reason.
- Writing to a runtime instead of a message: Ninety seconds is a constraint, not a brief. Decide what has to land, then cut to fit.
- Treating voice over as an afterthought: The scratch track drives the timing of every cut. Cast the voice before animation, not after.

Working with us
We are a Mumbai production company that works to a written scope, a fixed schedule and an agreed deliverable list. Briefs come in from marketing heads, founders, HR leads and agency partners, and all of them get the same first step: a conversation about the outcome.
If a video is not the right answer, we will say so. That has cost us projects and won us clients.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much does vfx services cost in Mumbai?
Projects generally fall between Rs 1L - Rs 40L. The figure is driven by finished runtime, how many unique scenes or assets are built from scratch, style complexity and revision rounds. We quote three tiers against one script so the trade-offs are visible.
How long does vfx services take?
3-8 weeks. Script and storyboard approval usually take longer than the production itself, so we lock both early and hold two revision rounds inside the schedule.
What is included in the deliverables?
VFX breakdown, Comped shots, Cleanup passes, Element library. Additional formats, languages and cutdowns are quoted per item rather than bundled invisibly.
Do you need to visit our office or shoot anything?
No. VFX Services is produced entirely in our studio from your brief, brand assets and approved copy. Some projects use existing footage or product references you already own; where none exist, we build from reference and lock the look at storyboard stage.
Can you work with our existing agency?
Regularly. We are often the production partner behind an agency's creative, and we are equally comfortable owning the concept end to end.
