Startups context
Funded startups needing investor-grade and customer-grade assets from one budget.
For startups teams, VFX sits inside an approval chain, not outside it. No forward-looking financial claims in public assets. We build that into the schedule rather than discovering it at the sign-off stage.
- Pitch films — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
- Product demos — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
- Founder stories — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
- Launch content — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
02
What good looks like in this sector
One well-produced demo often outperforms a full deck in fundraising.
Production is the easy part; agreeing what the film must achieve is the work. In startups, the most common failure is a film that is technically excellent and commercially silent — beautiful footage that never states the proposition. We test the script against the buying decision before the camera is booked.

03
What vfx services actually involves
Invisible cleanup through to full CG set extension, planned at the storyboard stage.
Production is the easy part; agreeing what the film must achieve is the work. For VFX, that means deciding early whether the film is doing persuasion work, explanation work or proof work — because those three jobs need different structures, different running times and different crews.
A typical engagement runs 3-8 weeks and is delivered by vfx supervisor, compositor, roto artist, fx td. There is no shoot day and no location to permit — the work is built in our studio from nuke, houdini, on-set hdri capture, which is why the schedule is driven by approvals rather than by weather, traffic or access.
04
What you receive
Deliverables are agreed in writing before production starts, so nothing is negotiated after the fact. The standard package for VFX includes:
- VFX breakdown
- Comped shots
- Cleanup passes
- Element library

05
How we run the project
Six stages, each with a named owner and a dated checkpoint.
- Discovery: A 90-minute session with the people who own the outcome. We leave with the audience, the proposition and the single action the work has to drive.
- Script and storyboard: A written script, then a storyboard or styleframe set that shows exactly how the finished piece will look before a single frame is built.
- Design and asset build: Style is locked on approved styleframes. Characters, product models, UI and typography are built to that lock so nothing is reinterpreted mid-project.
- Animation and assembly: Blocking pass, then full animation against the approved scratch voice track. You review at blocking and at first full pass, before render.
- Finishing: Render, colour, sound design, mix and graphics conform in a calibrated suite. Two structured revision rounds sit inside the schedule.
- Delivery and measurement: Platform-specific masters, captions, thumbnails, source project files on request, and an asset index. We review performance after 30 days.
06
Investment and what moves the number
VFX Services projects typically sit between Rs 1L - Rs 40L. The variables that move that figure are finished runtime, the number of unique scenes or assets built from scratch, the complexity of the style, and how many revision rounds you need beyond the two included.
We quote in three tiers against the same script so you can see exactly what an extra day or an extra grade session buys. What we do not do is win the brief on price and rebuild the margin through change requests.
- Included as standard: delivery specs matched to each platform, not one master for everything.
- Included as standard: a named producer who answers the phone, not a ticket queue.
- Included as standard: a storyboard approved before production time is spent.
- Included as standard: two structured revision rounds priced into the quote.

Startups teams we produce for across Mumbai
VFX is built in our studio, so there is no site access to arrange. These are the pockets of the MMR the briefs come from.
- Sewri (Central Mumbai) — Manufacturing sheds, estates and back-of-house operations that need capability films. Anchored around Sewri Fort. Demand runs to explainers, training modules and investor-facing films.
- Cotton Green (Central Mumbai) — Manufacturing sheds, estates and back-of-house operations that need capability films. Anchored around Cotton Exchange. Clients here commission campaign films, retail loops and category videos.
- Currey Road (Central Mumbai) — Office towers, business parks and multinational back-offices. Anchored around Currey Road bridge. The mix leans towards documentary-style films, culture content and CSR stories.
- Chinchpokli (Central Mumbai) — Manufacturing sheds, estates and back-of-house operations that need capability films. Anchored around Chinchpokli station. Work here is usually process films, safety content and trade-show loops.
- Lalbaug (Central Mumbai) — Heritage streetscapes and legacy institutions with strong character on camera. Anchored around Lalbaugcha Raja. Requests cluster around leadership interviews, annual films and internal comms.
08
Five ways startups VFX projects go wrong
Most failed video projects fail for the same handful of reasons. These are the ones we plan against.
- Approving a script without a storyboard: Words read differently from frames. Sign off the boards and the revisions collapse from ten rounds to two.
- Changing the style after animation starts: A restyle at the animation stage is a rebuild, not an edit. Style locks at styleframe approval for exactly this reason.
- Writing to a runtime instead of a message: Ninety seconds is a constraint, not a brief. Decide what has to land, then cut to fit.
- Treating voice over as an afterthought: The scratch track drives the timing of every cut. Cast the voice before animation, not after.

Working with us
We are a Mumbai production company that works to a written scope, a fixed schedule and an agreed deliverable list. Briefs come in from marketing heads, founders, HR leads and agency partners, and all of them get the same first step: a conversation about the outcome.
If a video is not the right answer, we will say so. That has cost us projects and won us clients.

Frequently asked questions
Why does vfx services need a sector-specific approach in startups?
No forward-looking financial claims in public assets. A generic script will fail review; a sector-aware one clears in a single pass.
What does vfx services cost for a startups client?
Rs 1L - Rs 40L, driven by shoot days, sites, languages and post depth rather than by sector.
How long does the project take?
3-8 weeks, plus your internal compliance review windows, which we schedule explicitly rather than assume.
What do we receive at the end?
VFX breakdown, Comped shots, Cleanup passes, Element library, with regional language versions quoted per language.
Can you shoot inside restricted or regulated sites?
Yes. We handle EHS briefings, gate passes, SEZ and plant clearances, and work to your site's safety protocol.
