01
Government and PSU context
Public sector bodies and PSUs reporting to citizens and ministries.
For government and psu teams, voice over sits inside an approval chain, not outside it. Departmental approval chains and tender compliance. We build that into the schedule rather than discovering it at the sign-off stage.
- Scheme explainers — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
- Annual review films — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
- Field documentaries — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
- Training modules — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
02
What good looks like in this sector
Regional-language versions determine actual reach for public schemes.
The brief matters more than the camera, so we spend real time on it. In government and psu, the most common failure is a film that is technically excellent and commercially silent — beautiful footage that never states the proposition. We test the script against the buying decision before the camera is booked.

03
What voice over services actually involves
Directed voice over in English, Hindi, Marathi and 12 more Indian languages.
The brief matters more than the camera, so we spend real time on it. For voice over, that means deciding early whether the film is doing persuasion work, explanation work or proof work — because those three jobs need different structures, different running times and different crews.
A typical engagement runs 3-7 working days and is delivered by vo director, sound engineer, casting coordinator. There is no shoot day and no location to permit — the work is built in our studio from treated booth, neumann u87, pro tools, which is why the schedule is driven by approvals rather than by weather, traffic or access.
04
What you receive
Deliverables are agreed in writing before production starts, so nothing is negotiated after the fact. The standard package for voice over includes:
- Directed VO session
- Cleaned WAV stems
- Alternate reads
- Sync-ready files

05
How we run the project
Six stages, each with a named owner and a dated checkpoint.
- Script and storyboard: A written script, then a storyboard or styleframe set that shows exactly how the finished piece will look before a single frame is built.
- Design and asset build: Style is locked on approved styleframes. Characters, product models, UI and typography are built to that lock so nothing is reinterpreted mid-project.
- Animation and assembly: Blocking pass, then full animation against the approved scratch voice track. You review at blocking and at first full pass, before render.
- Finishing: Render, colour, sound design, mix and graphics conform in a calibrated suite. Two structured revision rounds sit inside the schedule.
- Delivery and measurement: Platform-specific masters, captions, thumbnails, source project files on request, and an asset index. We review performance after 30 days.
- Discovery: A 90-minute session with the people who own the outcome. We leave with the audience, the proposition and the single action the work has to drive.
06
Investment and what moves the number
Voice Over Services projects typically sit between Rs 12K - Rs 1.5L. The variables that move that figure are finished runtime, the number of unique scenes or assets built from scratch, the complexity of the style, and how many revision rounds you need beyond the two included.
We quote in three tiers against the same script so you can see exactly what an extra day or an extra grade session buys. What we do not do is win the brief on price and rebuild the margin through change requests.
- Included as standard: two structured revision rounds priced into the quote.
- Included as standard: project files and source assets handed over on request.
- Included as standard: colour and audio finished in a calibrated suite, not on a laptop.
- Included as standard: delivery specs matched to each platform, not one master for everything.

Government and PSU teams we produce for across Mumbai
Voice over is built in our studio, so there is no site access to arrange. These are the pockets of the MMR the briefs come from.
- Kemps Corner (South Mumbai) — High-net-worth residential addresses, private clinics and luxury brands. Anchored around Kemps Corner flyover. Work here is usually process films, safety content and trade-show loops.
- Girgaon (South Mumbai) — Heritage streetscapes and legacy institutions with strong character on camera. Anchored around Girgaon Chowpatty. Requests cluster around leadership interviews, annual films and internal comms.
- Charni Road (South Mumbai) — Heritage streetscapes and legacy institutions with strong character on camera. Anchored around Charni Road station. Briefs here skew to founder films, product stories and recruitment content.
- Opera House (South Mumbai) — Heritage streetscapes and legacy institutions with strong character on camera. Anchored around Royal Opera House. Most work here is capability films, customer testimonials and launch content.
- Kalbadevi (South Mumbai) — Dense wholesale and retail trading markets with generational family businesses. Anchored around Zaveri Bazaar. Typical requests are brand films, social cutdowns and event coverage.

Five ways government and psu voice over projects go wrong
Most failed video projects fail for the same handful of reasons. These are the ones we plan against.
- Approving a script without a storyboard: Words read differently from frames. Sign off the boards and the revisions collapse from ten rounds to two.
- Changing the style after animation starts: A restyle at the animation stage is a rebuild, not an edit. Style locks at styleframe approval for exactly this reason.
- Writing to a runtime instead of a message: Ninety seconds is a constraint, not a brief. Decide what has to land, then cut to fit.
- Treating voice over as an afterthought: The scratch track drives the timing of every cut. Cast the voice before animation, not after.

Working with us
We are a Mumbai production company that works to a written scope, a fixed schedule and an agreed deliverable list. Briefs come in from marketing heads, founders, HR leads and agency partners, and all of them get the same first step: a conversation about the outcome.
If a video is not the right answer, we will say so. That has cost us projects and won us clients.

Departmental approval chains and tender compliance. A generic script will fail review; a sector-aware one clears in a single pass.
What does voice over services cost for a government and psu client?
Rs 12K - Rs 1.5L, driven by shoot days, sites, languages and post depth rather than by sector.
How long does the project take?
3-7 working days, plus your internal compliance review windows, which we schedule explicitly rather than assume.
What do we receive at the end?
Directed VO session, Cleaned WAV stems, Alternate reads, Sync-ready files, with regional language versions quoted per language.
Can you shoot inside restricted or regulated sites?
Yes. We handle EHS briefings, gate passes, SEZ and plant clearances, and work to your site's safety protocol.
