01
FMCG context
Fast-moving consumer goods brands operating at national media scale.
For fmcg teams, 3D animation sits inside an approval chain, not outside it. FSSAI and ASCI compliance on every claim. We build that into the schedule rather than discovering it at the sign-off stage.
- TVCs — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
- Digital ad films — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
- Trade films — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
- Recipe and usage content — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
02
What good looks like in this sector
Trade films move distributor behaviour as much as consumer ads move sales.
We plan the work backwards from the decision you need the viewer to make. In fmcg, the most common failure is a film that is technically excellent and commercially silent — beautiful footage that never states the proposition. We test the script against the buying decision before the camera is booked.

03
What 3d animation services actually involves
Photoreal and stylised 3D for products, machinery and architecture that cannot be filmed.
We plan the work backwards from the decision you need the viewer to make. For 3D animation, that means deciding early whether the film is doing persuasion work, explanation work or proof work — because those three jobs need different structures, different running times and different crews.
A typical engagement runs 4-8 weeks and is delivered by 3d generalist, lighting td, render wrangler, sound designer. There is no shoot day and no location to permit — the work is built in our studio from blender, houdini, redshift on a 400-core render farm, which is why the schedule is driven by approvals rather than by weather, traffic or access.
04
What you receive
Deliverables are agreed in writing before production starts, so nothing is negotiated after the fact. The standard package for 3D animation includes:
- 3D model and shading
- Animated master
- Turntable renders
- USDZ/AR asset

05
How we run the project
Six stages, each with a named owner and a dated checkpoint.
- Script and storyboard: A written script, then a storyboard or styleframe set that shows exactly how the finished piece will look before a single frame is built.
- Design and asset build: Style is locked on approved styleframes. Characters, product models, UI and typography are built to that lock so nothing is reinterpreted mid-project.
- Animation and assembly: Blocking pass, then full animation against the approved scratch voice track. You review at blocking and at first full pass, before render.
- Finishing: Render, colour, sound design, mix and graphics conform in a calibrated suite. Two structured revision rounds sit inside the schedule.
- Delivery and measurement: Platform-specific masters, captions, thumbnails, source project files on request, and an asset index. We review performance after 30 days.
- Discovery: A 90-minute session with the people who own the outcome. We leave with the audience, the proposition and the single action the work has to drive.
06
Investment and what moves the number
3D Animation Services projects typically sit between Rs 3L - Rs 30L. The variables that move that figure are finished runtime, the number of unique scenes or assets built from scratch, the complexity of the style, and how many revision rounds you need beyond the two included.
We quote in three tiers against the same script so you can see exactly what an extra day or an extra grade session buys. What we do not do is win the brief on price and rebuild the margin through change requests.
- Included as standard: a named producer who answers the phone, not a ticket queue.
- Included as standard: a storyboard approved before production time is spent.
- Included as standard: two structured revision rounds priced into the quote.
- Included as standard: project files and source assets handed over on request.

FMCG teams we produce for across Mumbai
3D animation is built in our studio, so there is no site access to arrange. These are the pockets of the MMR the briefs come from.
- Pydhonie (South Mumbai) — Dense wholesale and retail trading markets with generational family businesses. Anchored around Mohammed Ali Road. Work here is usually process films, safety content and trade-show loops.
- Agripada (South Mumbai) — Manufacturing sheds, estates and back-of-house operations that need capability films. Anchored around Jacob Circle. Requests cluster around leadership interviews, annual films and internal comms.
- Nagpada (South Mumbai) — Heritage streetscapes and legacy institutions with strong character on camera. Anchored around Nagpada junction. Briefs here skew to founder films, product stories and recruitment content.
- Matunga (Central Mumbai) — Education and research campuses with auditoria and controlled interiors. Anchored around Five Gardens. Most work here is capability films, customer testimonials and launch content.
- King Circle (Central Mumbai) — Neighbourhood retail, clinics, schools and family-run businesses. Anchored around Maheshwari Udyan. Typical requests are brand films, social cutdowns and event coverage.

Five ways fmcg 3D animation projects go wrong
Most failed video projects fail for the same handful of reasons. These are the ones we plan against.
- Writing to a runtime instead of a message: Ninety seconds is a constraint, not a brief. Decide what has to land, then cut to fit.
- Treating voice over as an afterthought: The scratch track drives the timing of every cut. Cast the voice before animation, not after.
- Supplying assets late: Brand kits, product CAD and legal copy arriving mid-build is the single most common cause of a slipped delivery date.
- Approving a script without a storyboard: Words read differently from frames. Sign off the boards and the revisions collapse from ten rounds to two.

Working with us
We are a Mumbai production company that works to a written scope, a fixed schedule and an agreed deliverable list. Briefs come in from marketing heads, founders, HR leads and agency partners, and all of them get the same first step: a conversation about the outcome.
If a video is not the right answer, we will say so. That has cost us projects and won us clients.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Why does 3d animation services need a sector-specific approach in fmcg?
FSSAI and ASCI compliance on every claim. A generic script will fail review; a sector-aware one clears in a single pass.
What does 3d animation services cost for a fmcg client?
Rs 3L - Rs 30L, driven by shoot days, sites, languages and post depth rather than by sector.
How long does the project take?
4-8 weeks, plus your internal compliance review windows, which we schedule explicitly rather than assume.
What do we receive at the end?
3D model and shading, Animated master, Turntable renders, USDZ/AR asset, with regional language versions quoted per language.
Can you shoot inside restricted or regulated sites?
Yes. We handle EHS briefings, gate passes, SEZ and plant clearances, and work to your site's safety protocol.
