01
Ecommerce and D2C context
Direct-to-consumer brands living or dying by creative performance.
For ecommerce and d2c teams, 3D animation sits inside an approval chain, not outside it. ASCI-compliant claims and pricing accuracy. We build that into the schedule rather than discovering it at the sign-off stage.
- Performance ad batches — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
- Product films — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
- UGC-style content — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
- Marketplace A+ video — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.

What good looks like in this sector
Creative variance, not budget, is usually the CPA lever.
Every engagement begins with a working session, not a rate card. In ecommerce and d2c, the most common failure is a film that is technically excellent and commercially silent — beautiful footage that never states the proposition. We test the script against the buying decision before the camera is booked.

03
What 3d animation services actually involves
Photoreal and stylised 3D for products, machinery and architecture that cannot be filmed.
Every engagement begins with a working session, not a rate card. For 3D animation, that means deciding early whether the film is doing persuasion work, explanation work or proof work — because those three jobs need different structures, different running times and different crews.
A typical engagement runs 4-8 weeks and is delivered by 3d generalist, lighting td, render wrangler, sound designer. There is no shoot day and no location to permit — the work is built in our studio from blender, houdini, redshift on a 400-core render farm, which is why the schedule is driven by approvals rather than by weather, traffic or access.
04
What you receive
Deliverables are agreed in writing before production starts, so nothing is negotiated after the fact. The standard package for 3D animation includes:
- 3D model and shading
- Animated master
- Turntable renders
- USDZ/AR asset

05
How we run the project
Six stages, each with a named owner and a dated checkpoint.
- Finishing: Render, colour, sound design, mix and graphics conform in a calibrated suite. Two structured revision rounds sit inside the schedule.
- Delivery and measurement: Platform-specific masters, captions, thumbnails, source project files on request, and an asset index. We review performance after 30 days.
- Discovery: A 90-minute session with the people who own the outcome. We leave with the audience, the proposition and the single action the work has to drive.
- Script and storyboard: A written script, then a storyboard or styleframe set that shows exactly how the finished piece will look before a single frame is built.
- Design and asset build: Style is locked on approved styleframes. Characters, product models, UI and typography are built to that lock so nothing is reinterpreted mid-project.
- Animation and assembly: Blocking pass, then full animation against the approved scratch voice track. You review at blocking and at first full pass, before render.
06
Investment and what moves the number
3D Animation Services projects typically sit between Rs 3L - Rs 30L. The variables that move that figure are finished runtime, the number of unique scenes or assets built from scratch, the complexity of the style, and how many revision rounds you need beyond the two included.
We quote in three tiers against the same script so you can see exactly what an extra day or an extra grade session buys. What we do not do is win the brief on price and rebuild the margin through change requests.
- Included as standard: delivery specs matched to each platform, not one master for everything.
- Included as standard: a named producer who answers the phone, not a ticket queue.
- Included as standard: a storyboard approved before production time is spent.
- Included as standard: two structured revision rounds priced into the quote.

Ecommerce and D2C teams we produce for across Mumbai
3D animation is built in our studio, so there is no site access to arrange. These are the pockets of the MMR the briefs come from.
- Lokhandwala (Western Suburbs) — The working core of India's screen industry — casting, crew and post within walking distance. Anchored around Lokhandwala Market. Most work here is capability films, customer testimonials and launch content.
- Oshiwara (Western Suburbs) — The working core of India's screen industry — casting, crew and post within walking distance. Anchored around Oshiwara Link Road. Typical requests are brand films, social cutdowns and event coverage.
- Yari Road (Western Suburbs) — The working core of India's screen industry — casting, crew and post within walking distance. Anchored around Yari Road studios. Demand runs to explainers, training modules and investor-facing films.
- Aram Nagar (Western Suburbs) — The working core of India's screen industry — casting, crew and post within walking distance. Anchored around Aram Nagar Part 1. Clients here commission campaign films, retail loops and category videos.
- Four Bungalows (Western Suburbs) — Neighbourhood retail, clinics, schools and family-run businesses. Anchored around Four Bungalows market. The mix leans towards documentary-style films, culture content and CSR stories.

Five ways ecommerce and d2c 3D animation projects go wrong
Most failed video projects fail for the same handful of reasons. These are the ones we plan against.
- Treating voice over as an afterthought: The scratch track drives the timing of every cut. Cast the voice before animation, not after.
- Supplying assets late: Brand kits, product CAD and legal copy arriving mid-build is the single most common cause of a slipped delivery date.
- Approving a script without a storyboard: Words read differently from frames. Sign off the boards and the revisions collapse from ten rounds to two.
- Changing the style after animation starts: A restyle at the animation stage is a rebuild, not an edit. Style locks at styleframe approval for exactly this reason.

Working with us
We are a Mumbai production company that works to a written scope, a fixed schedule and an agreed deliverable list. Briefs come in from marketing heads, founders, HR leads and agency partners, and all of them get the same first step: a conversation about the outcome.
If a video is not the right answer, we will say so. That has cost us projects and won us clients.

Rs 3L - Rs 30L, driven by shoot days, sites, languages and post depth rather than by sector.
How long does the project take?
