01
Media and Entertainment context
Studios, OTT platforms and events businesses producing at volume.
For media and entertainment teams, video editing sits inside an approval chain, not outside it. Rights clearance for music, footage and talent. We build that into the schedule rather than discovering it at the sign-off stage.
- Promos and trailers — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
- BTS content — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
- Title packaging — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
- Awards films — briefed, scripted and delivered as a distinct asset rather than a cutdown afterthought.
02
What good looks like in this sector
Promo packaging determines click-through on crowded OTT shelves.
Every engagement begins with a working session, not a rate card. In media and entertainment, the most common failure is a film that is technically excellent and commercially silent — beautiful footage that never states the proposition. We test the script against the buying decision before the camera is booked.

03
What video editing services actually involves
Offline and online editing for footage you already own, with story structure fixed first.
Every engagement begins with a working session, not a rate card. For video editing, that means deciding early whether the film is doing persuasion work, explanation work or proof work — because those three jobs need different structures, different running times and different crews.
A typical engagement runs 5-12 working days and is delivered by editor, assistant editor, colourist, mix engineer. There is no shoot day and no location to permit — the work is built in our studio from davinci resolve studio, premiere pro, calibrated grade suite, which is why the schedule is driven by approvals rather than by weather, traffic or access.
04
What you receive
Deliverables are agreed in writing before production starts, so nothing is negotiated after the fact. The standard package for video editing includes:
- Rough cut
- Fine cut
- Colour graded master
- Mixed audio stems

05
How we run the project
Six stages, each with a named owner and a dated checkpoint.
- Delivery and measurement: Platform-specific masters, captions, thumbnails, source project files on request, and an asset index. We review performance after 30 days.
- Discovery: A 90-minute session with the people who own the outcome. We leave with the audience, the proposition and the single action the work has to drive.
- Script and storyboard: A written script, then a storyboard or styleframe set that shows exactly how the finished piece will look before a single frame is built.
- Design and asset build: Style is locked on approved styleframes. Characters, product models, UI and typography are built to that lock so nothing is reinterpreted mid-project.
- Animation and assembly: Blocking pass, then full animation against the approved scratch voice track. You review at blocking and at first full pass, before render.
- Finishing: Render, colour, sound design, mix and graphics conform in a calibrated suite. Two structured revision rounds sit inside the schedule.
06
Investment and what moves the number
Video Editing Services projects typically sit between Rs 35K - Rs 4L. The variables that move that figure are finished runtime, the number of unique scenes or assets built from scratch, the complexity of the style, and how many revision rounds you need beyond the two included.
We quote in three tiers against the same script so you can see exactly what an extra day or an extra grade session buys. What we do not do is win the brief on price and rebuild the margin through change requests.
- Included as standard: colour and audio finished in a calibrated suite, not on a laptop.
- Included as standard: delivery specs matched to each platform, not one master for everything.
- Included as standard: a named producer who answers the phone, not a ticket queue.
- Included as standard: a storyboard approved before production time is spent.

Media and Entertainment teams we produce for across Mumbai
Video editing is built in our studio, so there is no site access to arrange. These are the pockets of the MMR the briefs come from.

- Navade (Extended MMR) — Manufacturing sheds, estates and back-of-house operations that need capability films. Anchored around Navade MIDC. Requests cluster around leadership interviews, annual films and internal comms.
- Khopoli (Extended MMR) — Manufacturing sheds, estates and back-of-house operations that need capability films. Anchored around Khopoli MIDC. Briefs here skew to founder films, product stories and recruitment content.
- Karjat (Extended MMR) — Open land, farmhouses and natural backdrops within reach of the city. Anchored around Karjat farmhouses. Most work here is capability films, customer testimonials and launch content.

Five ways media and entertainment video editing projects go wrong
Most failed video projects fail for the same handful of reasons. These are the ones we plan against.
- Approving a script without a storyboard: Words read differently from frames. Sign off the boards and the revisions collapse from ten rounds to two.
- Changing the style after animation starts: A restyle at the animation stage is a rebuild, not an edit. Style locks at styleframe approval for exactly this reason.
- Writing to a runtime instead of a message: Ninety seconds is a constraint, not a brief. Decide what has to land, then cut to fit.
- Treating voice over as an afterthought: The scratch track drives the timing of every cut. Cast the voice before animation, not after.

Working with us
We are a Mumbai production company that works to a written scope, a fixed schedule and an agreed deliverable list. Briefs come in from marketing heads, founders, HR leads and agency partners, and all of them get the same first step: a conversation about the outcome.
If a video is not the right answer, we will say so. That has cost us projects and won us clients.
